To lead its rapid prototyping entity, Accenture appointed one of South Africa’s leading innovation champions,Rory Moore, to lead its Africa office.  He is an innovation pioneer who has always   been fascinated with innovation. He has extensive corporate and entrepreneurial experience in driving the innovation agenda and understands the unique challenges in operating in these two very different environments. Under Moores leadership, Liquid Studio accelerates innovation by applying rapid development approaches including agile methodologies.

Over the years, Accenture Liquid Studio has had a significant impact that has led to reduction in development time from months to days and shortened  time to business impact. Through immersive workshops, Liquid Studio has enabled organisations to  receive tangible, hands-on experience of how their business can benefit from the most disruptive technologies such as virtual reality,artificial intelligence, blockchain and cloud architectures.

Liquid Studio has developed virtual reality as well as artificial intelligence solutions that enables clients to achieve their business objectives. One insurance company approached Liquid Studio to develop a solution. The outcome was an AR + AI solution that allowed clients to visualise in real time how a retirement would look like in the future.

Another recent example relates to an augmented reality solution for the publishing industry. Fast Company (SA) magazine collaborated with Accenture to develop an augmented reality experience for its Most Innovative Companies issue for 2020. The solution activated the Fast Company cover into a page that enabled interaction through mobile device camera to visualise content in real time.
